Just wanted to share with you concerning Lyrica I was on a very high dose twice an day but it didn’t seem to work. I notice over the course of six months that it was causing weight gain. So I finally was able to wean off of it and 😮 OMG I had the WORST side effects coming off. I read that weaning off it was the same symptoms as alcoholics get . My sister shared with me that a lot of patients wind up going back on it because they couldn’t handle it. For three weeks I had a migraines,nausea,hot/cold sweats , crazy dreams,itching,just a nasty feeling. Has anyone had this happen coming off of it? Needless to say I’m finally starting to get back to normal and on Wednesday my dr is going to try something else less traumatic. I’m sooooo glad I’m off this medicine.
I took it for nearly a year and was told I would not have any withdrawals from it. I thought I was dying! Took almost a year to feel halfway normal and some symptoms have never gone away after seven years! The doctor steadfastly refused to believe it was from withdrawals!! So I assumed I had just lost my mind! I came close to taking it again to see if I would feel better but glad I didn't! Stopped taking it in the first place as it did not seem to be helping much, even at a high dose. And at that time it was expensive even with insurance paying part of it. Hell in a bottle!

I can understand! It was several years ago now, but still makes me angry that the doctor swore up and down that there were NO withdrawals from lyrica!!
This is week five and I’m 80% Better. If you can come off please do . I was on the highest dose almost went back on. I prayed really hard until it got better. Of course if it works for you then stay on it.🤗
