I take medications Levothyroxine for my thyroid, Vitamin D3, for low vit d, Lorazepam for anxieties, Trazodone for sleep but it is not helping, Losartasn for blood pressure and Famotidine for acid reflux.

I have a lot of throuble with my bowls and urine

i would like to know what is the safest magnesium i can take that won't cause diarrhea and will help my palpitations, and my anxieties, and my sleep.

They say my magnesium is at a normal range so what is the safe megnesium pill i can take that will help me relax more that won't cause stool problems and help with my anxieties and help me sleep please help me get on the right magnesium

Hello

If your magnesium levels are ok you may not benefit from supplements because our bodies only store what we need, the rest we get rid of usually via the kidneys.

You post a lot about your palpitations and anxieties which can drive each other and I wonder if your bladder and bowel issues may be stress related, this could be the cause of your sleep difficulties as well.

Have you maybe tried yoga or some other form of relaxation therapy, something that can take you away from things for a bit and give you something else to focus on. Hobbies and exercise are often more effective than medication.

I think, and we are all guilty of this, we all maybe spend too much time on worrying about our 'symptoms'. So much so that we forget to actually live and spend all our times googling stuff we don't have!

My dear aunt died a few days ago, very suddenly and it made me think a lot about things. We are only here once and for a very short time so maybe we need to live while we can.

This forum has been a godsend at times but sometimes we should perhaps not use it as a crutch to prop up a health anxiety. I done it myself but realise that its not dealing with the root cause which is anxiety. That needs treating for you I think. I only say this because you seem so stressed in all your posts and it doesn't have to be like that for you. You need to get some positive therapy rather than reaching for more supplements that you probably don't need.

I really do wish you all the best Susan and hope you feel better x

HI Susan, Lisa responded exactly what i  had in mind she is so right ....we are constantly trying to either find answers to perhaps issues that we make greater than they are . pls i know because ive been there and still am at times! but the symtoms become way greater if we are contantly at them. let it go just for a bit and redirect your focus elsewhere , trying an exercise class , i personally do pranayam (breathing exercises) helps tons with anxiety and yoga  as well because you keep a flow in your breathing .

Blessings,

Hi Susan

i take Chelated Magnesium, thats the better magnesium, doesnt upset tummy.

i need magnesium as i am Vit D defficient and i have to take it with my Vit D supplement as the work together .

magnesium citrate and magnesium oxide i avoid, as it has laxative effects
