For those using Manuka Honey, it's best to use full strength. I was diluting it and applying it with a q-tip, but wasn't getting getting the full benifet. My eyes would still itch. Now I apply it full strength with a clean finger, and it really helps so much more. Yes, it is sticky, and it burns some, but my eyes feel wonderful afterwards. Later I remove some of it with a damp tissue. Remember, clean fingers! Hope this helps. 😄

I tried Manuka 5+ and it works great,I do not dilute it.
And I also use mixed teatree oil with babyshampoo on the waterline 2 times a day.
After 5 years I am feeling a lot better.
This is a miracle!!!
Is it safe to use the honey on the root of your eyelashes every day and I leave it on overnight?

Sandra, yes it is. i do it every night.
I also use the Baby Shampoo and Tea Tree Oil. I really don’t know how I could manage without the honey, but I’m sure there are other answers out there also. Although to have severe dry eye, not blepharitis , the method I am using keeps the symptoms down.

I’m new here on this forum, but read all posts about blepharitis. I have started on the Manuka Honey 20+ on Tuesday, following on Dawn’s success.
I note you are also treating with Manuka Honey for a while, don’t you have the same result as Dawn? How long have you been doing the honey treatment and do you treat 3x a day? As I know Dawn has completely cured hers following this strict protocol and no longer has Blepharitis in her eyes. Any help is appreciated, at least this forum exists and its a great help! Thanks in advance.

I I don’t think I have the blepharitis. I think I was misdiagnosed. I have chronic horrible dry eyes. the only thing that gives me any relief as manuka honey.
dry eyes can be a result of blepharitis, mostly posterior blepharitis. how long have you been using manuka honey? and which kind?
