Maroon colored blood in stool

hi everyone. So the last 5 days or so I've been having some odd abdominal issues. it seems to have come out of nowhere. For the last 5 days I have been getting full quickly. a few bites and my stomach is bloated (even with drinking water!) My hunger has somewhat diminished as well. ive been noticing its taking a long time for my food to digest. if i eat a meal at 6 pm the night before, ill hear grumbling sounds until i use the bathroom the next day at like 12 pm. Usually my metabolism is quicker than that. Now that didnt worry me too much the last 4 days, until last night when i got really scared. After I tried eating a half a burger and like three fries, i had to use the bathroom. After i defecated, i noticed maroon colored blood on the toilet paper. not a lot, but definitely there. like i mentioned, i havent defecated often in the last 5 days, and when i do its usually soft, leaning towards diarrhea. i never bled until last night. It also feels like my abdomen wants to expand at all times even when i havent eaten a meal (whatever that means). I have no nausea, no fever, no coughing...although a little chest pain right in the middle of my chest and/or sternum especially after eating a meal. What could be going on here? 5'7 29 years old Male 173 lbs On a side note: I like to point out that these specific symptoms started the day after i went to the chiropractor...not sure if that means anything. i also took a Comprehensive blood test a month ago for other reasons and my blood count was within normal ranges...i dont know how that affects my development of my abdominal issues

I don’t know what country you are from, but in the UK you are not supposed to be going out to see chiropractors or anyone unless it is essential and you are supposed to be keeping a 2 metre distance from people which would be impossible at a chiropractor appointment. The coronavirus can give you digestive symptoms. I don’t know if you would get symptoms the next day from contracting it though, but if you think it is ok to have an appointment with a chiropractor during this crisis, I am going to assume you may not have taken other precautions before. This virus is highly contagious and just touching an item someone with the virus has touched and then touching your face can give you this virus. You need to speak to a medical professional to explain your symptoms, I would advise to do this by a phone call so if you do have the virus you don’t spread it further. Also if it turns out you do have the virus warn everyone you have come in contact with especially the chiropractor, who could spread it to multiple clients after you. People really need to take this seriously, the death toll keeps rising because people don’t think the rules apply to them.
