Mean to say out of options

Mistake on my title!

What did you mean.  Do you have atrophic vaginitis?

I spelled options incorrectly

Yes I have atrophic vaginitis - unfortunately

Can't they do anything for atrophic vaginitis I'm seeing a specilist for that tom burning urethra coconut oil uribel and pyridium not working taking oxy when I can't take it

how much research is actually being done for vaginal atrophy?  it's an awful condition that many women suffer from. As I've mentioned in previous posts, I've used many creams and none of them helped. As far as coconut oil, forget it - didn't soothe at all. I'm seeing a urogyno  she's trying to help but so far so bad. I'm using vagifem and still hoping for relief. I have estriol in versabase (compound). I may ask pharmacist if the base is the mildest they have. It's a struggle .

I'd like to know how much research is actually being done for this debilitating condition, it affects so many women and affects your moral and well being , it is life changing and a daily struggle, coping with the pain discomfort and side effects, it also seems to be a taboo subject other than discussions on forums like this before I was diagnosed with VA a nurse practitioner suggested I make an appointment with mind which was really disconcerting , especially coming from a health care professional. I have had to self refer myself and opted for the ML treatments it's just a process of elimination and a journey not knowing sometimes what route to follow next.
