Hello.
I had unprotected oral sex with a girl and I ended up with urethritis (treated with Cefixime for 8 days, the doctor suspects that it gave me hypersensitivity. The rash appeared on my buttocks). Then take Doxycycline for 7 days.
17 days after the risk contact (and one week after finishing doxycycline) they took blood for HIV, syphilis and hepatitis tests, all negative.
While I was being treated with Doxycycline, my meatus began to itch after urinating. Then what I put by images appeared. Now I have burning in the meatus and I have had discomfort in the throat and abdomen (right side). I still have the rash on my buttocks.
I'm going to do a urine test to see if I have any bacteria that the antibiotic treatments didn't work for.
Could it be herpes, HPV or HIV?
Same issue for month, no solution yet. All STD tests came back negative and I’m still seeing the urologist, with no permanent solution. I have tried multiple antibiotics, nothing worked so far. A cream called Travocort seem to handle the situation on the short term and only for a couple of hours. The very same problem is causing a lot of problem to a lot of us here on the forum, please if any of you know something useful let us know. Best wishes
