I got prescribed transderm scop on the 13th for vertigo well I woke up yesterday around 1am drenched in sweat went to the bathroom and was so dizzy almost fell and went back to bed. I woke up this morning and at around noon started to get that quezzy feeling like when you think your about to fall. That lasted all day and night and I've gotten so scared cause I'm having what feels like heart palpitations so I came to lay on the couch in case something happens. Well I was laying here and got that feeling again but what was weird this time is both my hands got tingly. Please tell me this is just a bad side effect from it going out of my system??
It could be a side effect or it could be that the vertigo has not responded to this drug and has come back with a vengeance. You must go back to your doctor, do you have somebody who can help you get there? If you feel really bad you must at least phone your doctor.
I did talk to the nurse and to the pharmacist and she said the palpitations and warm flushing with tingling shouldn't be happening with this med so now my anxiety is through the roof and Im really worried. My doctor isn't back in till Tuesday

Just checking that the symptoms are not due to the menopause...obviously not. These flushing and tingling symptoms can be cause by extreme anxiety. Are your vertigo feelings any better?
No they are not better and my eyes are still dilated and blurry from that patch. Another thing I noticed last night was the beds of my fingernails are purple? The internet is saying that's my heart, I'm really worried since my doctor is out till Tuesday

Erica..have you washed the area where the patch was stuck? There could be residual drug left on your skin and its still being absorbed. Not sure which country you are in but can you get to Emergency care or A/E if you are in UK?
