Hi has anyone every been prescribed an antpsychcotic to help short term with chronic anxiety ?
Yes I have. I take lexapro 10 mg a day. Buspar 7.5 twice a day and ativan 0.5mg as needed. Only my first day for lexapro having mild side effects but the ativan helps with them. I've been on prozac,paxil,wellbutrin and had awful side effects..

im im such a scardy cat with meds but need to get this anxiety under control !!!!! I think it's because they said it was a anti psychotic that it freaked me out ! I have diazepam 2 mg but have even been scared to take that so I'm going to try the diazepam first and up the antidepressants !! X
I get scared to girl.. I take ativan 0.5mg its just like diazapam it does help with anxiety.. I had mild side effects to the lexapro today it was my first dose and it freaked me out. But if I wanna get better I gotta think positive.. Let me know how it goes.. 😘❌❌❌
What antidepressant do you take? How many mg and when do you take it?
