OK. Rant alert 😳 for the past 8 weeks I’ve had issues with my ears... this makes me dizzy, headaches etc., Why can I not get these to unblock, or anyone to help with this. I wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemy BUT I do wonder what if a medical person walked in my shoes for a few hours never mind week/s would they seem so flippant about these symptoms. I hate getting out of the bed in the morning as the only break I get from it is when I’m sleeping, when I sleep as all I can hear is my heart thumping (I suppose at least I know it is working 😀
. And have to keep switching ears on pillow or lying on my back.... I also feel that a lot of what the Doctor only sees is a doll with anxiety 😡

have u googled eustachian tube dysfunction@ Has your dr referred you to an Ear Nose Thraoat specialiot? no one need suffer like this. Just because a person has anxiety does not exclude them from decent medical care. Can u change drs?
I’m smiling here, ive just changed Doctors recently & he’s grand but at the minute I’m working on his quote “we will give it a few weeks and let nature take its course” as he doesn’t believe in one course of antibiotics after another, which is fair enough. If they don’t clear I will ask for a referral for ENT appointment.

I agree 100% about having anxiety & treatment, my last Dr., when I said to him about anxiety his reply was
wait for it ..... “sure what have you to be anxious about” & he changed the subject 😡 Hence the new Doctor, mind you I don’t think the other one was too bothered after I had a meltdown & told him what I thought of his treatment & asked for my file - lol. Take care & thanks again x
Hi Thanks for your reply. I too have had problems with drs who like to blame everything on anxiety. I too had a very painful ear, dr diag eustachian tube dysfunction.
I bought a device online to relieve the pressure ein the ear. I am not advertising just saying that not all these conditions are cured by medication. It might be worthwhile just googling eustachian tube dysfunction for options. Take care and btw you did the right thig imo getting another dr. x
