MELATONIN

Has anyone tried Melatonin for insomnia? I would love to hear any experiences you've had. Thanks!

I took this for sleeping and it did work but if it say take one. TAKE ONE because I took 2 and started throwing up so take it as needed and take how much it say. 

Do you remember the dosage? Mine is 5mg

It works great. I used to use it all the time when I was flying to the far east on business, to get over the jet lag and sleep that first night in Japan. It makes you drowsy without feeling 'slow' in the morning.

One 3 mg pill should be enough, keri. 5 mg is probably too much, they usually sell it in 3 mg tablets.

I’ve teied melatonin 5mf and it helped me to fall asleep, however it did not solve my problem of “keeping” me asleep.  I have this frustrating problem of waking up in the middle of the night ~2-3am and have a restless sleep thereafter.  I look forward to reading what others post.  Thanks!

I tried 3 mg when I came home after travelling with a 12 hour difference. It could keep you asleep but hard to stay asleep after 6 hours . It is a herbal supplement so it is not addictive . 

I’ve tried melatonin and it didn’t work for me at all, I have a lot of luck with unisom and trazodone
