v not had a period for 15yrs and just over 6 months ago i stated to bleed again iv been to the doctors and got checked out but was told id got thrush which i got treatment for it and in the last 2 months iv had 2 bleeds im worried in case its something serious iv got an appointment to go to hospital in 2 weeks time should i be worried
Hi Jacqueline try not to worry that's all I can say..it's 15 years not having periods for you to be bleeding again I guess not right but all you can do is get it check out darling to put your mind at rest damn periods don't know when to stop I don't know why women get Post meno bleeding again so fustrating when that happens as I said don't worry prayer to God he's in control he made us.
I've heard of so many people who have gone through this. I've heard of so many diagnoses for this. It's obviously common, which you will see if you read all the forums on here! It's very upsetting too. I feel for you.
Hi Jacqueline, I would get that bleeding checked out again if I were you. Quite suddenly I started to get blood smears in the summer of 2016 together with dull tummy ache. I was 71 and hadn't had periods for many years and was still taking HRT (since the age of 50). I saw my doctor as soon as I could and after being reassured that all seemed well, I went home to forget about it. However, the blood spotting continued and the tummy ache became worse. I was getting concerned so went back to my doctor and from there I was referred to my local hospital. After tests and scans I ended up having to have a total hysterectomy because they discovered I had cancer of the uterus. Now I don't want to scare you as I'm sure in your case it's nothing serious, but DO NOT ignore your symptoms. My surgery 18 months ago, went very well. I had no chemo but had only radiotherapy. My life is now back to normal and I'm feeling great. Do go and see another doctor if you can, to get another opinion - for your own peace of mind more than anything. Good luck, Lady Pink
