Since August I have been unwell with my asthma, bronchitist and constant chest infections, can this be because, I'm in the early stages of menapaaus.
Im 50 next year, I had a full hysterectomy in 2008, I have one ovarie left no tube.
Has anyone else had this problem ?
I have had asthma and bronchitist since I was 7yrs old, but also had TB when I was 16 which scared both my lungs.
Sounds to me that you are dealing with 2 different health problems. You should go to your doctor.
I have never been away from the doctors 😞
think they are as puzzled as much as me.
ive had blood test done, X-rays, ecg as well.
been on and off antibiotics and steroids since August 😪
im also on antidepressants because I have been very emotional, but I did loose my father in-law a yr ago.

I had full hysterectomy 3 years ago, have sciatica and for the first time ever, got a chest infection which will not go away. I've had two lots of pills from docs - that was weeks ago, and it will not shift.
I have other health problems, I am sure that all this makes the chest infection worse.
I would go and see your doctor too, one friend of mine told me that sometimes we chalk up everything to menopausal symptoms and yes there are a lot of issues, but, sometimes its not,. I know personally I have trouble figuring out whats what. Today I was really nauseous and I was having bad heat flashes, so, I am wondering too. I would say see the doctor to be on the safe side.
Yvonne, I never had astma or bronchitis but just after I entered peri (lost 1 period), I has several symptoms as I had. Very bad breathing, look-alike alergy or cold symptoms. With time everythig settle down and I hope you will feel fine. I know doctors do not know much but always visit one, do the tests, just to be sure. Good luck
