Meniere and Acupuncture

I have been diagnosed with meniere for a few years.

But couple of months ago it got really bad, terrible nausea, dizziness, headache, sleepiness and tinnitis in both ears.

I very didn t take any western medecines so far except once or twice for a couple of days.

But did tried acupuncture which was really efficient in one sequence nausea, and drowsiness were gone and tinnitis reduced.

I stil have tinnitus sometimes louder and some times reduced by acupuncture but so far nausea and dizziness have gone for the last 2 months.

Of course I found an acupuncturist that had already worked with Meniere disease. 

I am very much hoping that Meniere will slow down the progress of the disease, so far I can still leave a normal life except from a few months ago when nausea and dizziness were truly depressing.

Sorry excuse my lousy English as I am French, besides had a slip of tongue, I meant to say I hope that acupuncture will slow down Meniere disease's progression.

I had a series pf acupuncture and also moxibustion. i was diagnosed by a Chinese practioner and he picked up the Meniere's and said he could help me. Very effective for the continual attacks I was having at the time...Acupuncture doesnt work for everyone, but it certainly helped me.

Does anyone know, does the disease always progress?
