Hi Ladies,
I think i might have finally stopped my period. Im 52. A Question really i have been peri since i was 47 with all sorts of symptoms (check list) gone down most of them, the latter being night sweats. Until the two years are up with no period does that mean the symptoms subside or get worse? Iv done the panic attacks, anxiety, health anxiety, hot flushes, cramps, ibs, constipation, dry skin, frizzy hair (not sure if that is a symptom) The past couple of days the anxiety was starting to creep back a bit. I have just had the hacking cough that is sweeping the country and lost voice for 5 weeks, only just coming back now (from all the coughing) being in the meno state do viruses hit harder it just seems a its taken a long time to recover.
Hold on fasten your seatbelt your in for a bumpy ride. Mmmm who's quote is that?
Take one day at a time. I went thru all the messy sweats, hormones dropping and everything along with the Big M.
I managed it with rest supplements and a huge fan. I was busy running a business and boy does menopause slow ya down. I move like a snail.
Well at least I'm thru the worst. It all passes by very quickly. At least in my case.
Wishing you the best going thru this and keep up ur sense of humor walking is good and it will get better. See your doc for a positive diagnosis of menopause.
Take care
I would get your bloods checked , it could be menopause or it could by underactive thyroid , similar issues and it's hard to decide what's causing them but a blood test would show your hormone levels and thyroid levels. Good luck
I have it all. Also suddenly asthma and allergies to everything. How bad was the hacking cough? Are you in the UK?
