Hi David, my daughter broke her wrist at the beginning of the year and I remember her having all sorts of pain and different sensations when the cast was taken off. A wrist/hand break is extremely painful and, sad to say, takes quite a long tme to recover.... sorry. I hope you have been given guidelines as to the best pain relief David, if not, maybe a phonecall to your GP or even ask a pharmacist as these days they are quite highly trained in helping some problems from the public ! All the best
I may have developed carpal tunnel syndrome as a result of the surgery so go see your doctor or the surgeon as l am sure you have follow up appointments.
pain and breaks are normal, but why are they waiting 6 freaking weeks!?! SIX WEEKS!?! it should be cared for early or it will heal incorrectly. WHY are they waiting? What am i missing? did they give you a reason?
Sorry I ment 6 weeks for the following check up. The specialist said it's normal and nothing to worry about I still feel a constant pain in my hand though I don't see how this is normal it's been 8 weeks it doesn't feel like it's getting better do you have advice
