I have started putting on not unconsiderable weight since starting mirtazapine. My mental health nurse suggested metformin. Has any one used this?
I’m very nervous of developing diabetes on it.

never heard of it but doesnt sound like a good idea to take a med to counteract symptoms of another med x
Hey! I’m on Mirtz too. I’ve been on it for a few years now. And in the last 1.5 years I’ve gained about 20 to 25 kg. Not sure why.
I’ve recently started taking Topamax to combat migraines. Little did I know. A common side effect is weight loss. So I’ve actually lost a few kilos in the passed month.
I’ve never heard of Metformin. Sorry! Just thought I’d share my experience.
