Guys I’m really scared I have bladder cancer. Doctor keeps finding traces of blood in urine - rare is what they call it. I’m 34 and never smoked, but they already did a test for bladder infection that came back negative and a CS scan that showed nothing abnormal, so now I have to do a cystoscopy.

Originally the blood was found in December when I went in for groin pain, urge to urinate, burning sensation on penis and pain around perineum.

What helps with anxiety?

it may not be bladder cancer but a condition called interstitial cystitis.

You don’t give much detail. My experience is painful peeing is infection which after a lab test if +ve then antibiotics for a week or so usually clears. How was the blood detected?
