Mind telling me to go to ER, family thinks I'm crazy😩

Hi guys, so for the last six months or so I've developed this tightness/pain in my upper back/shoulder/neck area. I'm assuming it's muscular because I've gone to the ER about 3 times for it, was even sent to a cardiologist and they found nothing wrong. Well 2 days ago it started back up again and I can't help but freak out. My anxiety is through the roof as I have a newborn and 2 year old I'm always convinced it dying. I've been to the hospital over 5 times in the last year convinced I was having a heart attack, a brain tumor, and ever since the ER checked me for a blood clot with the upper back pain, I'm convinced of that now too! I'm so sure something is wrong with me as the neck pain gives me headaches too. My upper back feels so tight and even hurts when I breathe in deep. But I'm so sure something has changed now and I'm really having a heart problem even though my most recent ekg was just a few weeks ago and everything was fine. I just feel like I can't relax until I go get it checked but I can't keep going to the hospital, my family thinks I'm insane!!

Hi Miranda. Let me start off by saying, I know what you’re going through lol.

I’m 16, been to the er 3 times as well & also saw a cardiologist. 3 chest X-rays, 5 ekgs, echocardiogram, stress test & a holster monitor. I was soooooo convinces I had a heart problem so bad that I didn’t go to school for 2 months, lost 20 lbs. & sunk into depression.

Long story short. I got over it. Because it’s not that serious. I’m going to be 100% real with you because I don’t want you to waste your life worrying about something as irrelevant as this.

Those tests that you had? Realize that they are true. There is nothing wrong. There is no physical illness. Otherwise, it would’ve been cause he between your 3 visits to the er & a cardiologist.

You cannot continue to allow your anxiety to take over you. You have control over this & you have the power to beat it. Trust me I know it’s not easy. At ALL. But it’s possible. As long as you stay confident into making a change & that you are dedicated to it, anything is possible.

Illness or not. Live your life. It’s people with holes in their brain, heart, & they cherish there lives with happiness & stress free. But here we are completely healthy & afraid we’re going to die lol. Whenever you feel anxious, think about all the times that you’ve been told you’re okay. Think about if you worrying & stressing is a positive or negative thing regarding your health. But regardless of what’s wrong with you, be happy. You get one life. No do overs. Why waste it stressing? ❤️

Have the dr told you it's a high possibility u heave postpartum anxiety?? U just had a baby recently and with stress and hormones everywhere it can cause it

Hi. I have constant pain in my upperback and neck through stress and tension. Your anxiety is tricking you into thinking you are ill. You have a lot of stress with 2 young children. Speak to a Dr and let them know how you feel.

Miranda

Are you carrying the baby could that be causing problems with strain on spine neck and shoulder .

You have seen some specialists and they would have checked you out, so consider you are fit with two kids.

You sound fit and if there was something wrong with your heart it would have been picked up before birth, it does sound like anxiety, you have a great deal on with your children, enjoy
