Mindfulness - Book

Hello All, 

The past month or so has been really hard for me after just getting dignosed with a anxiety disorder.

I just order the book, Mindfulness.

Has anyone read this and has it help you fight anxiety?

 Yes Jessica, it's an excellent book. Many people around the world have read it. It's a concept  that teaches us how to be "in the moment". Rather than being fearful and anxious when we experience anxiety and symptoms, it teaches you how to acknowledge,observe,  and let go, rather than fighting everything off which makes it all worse.   It teaches you proper breathing technique with anxiety, how to get rid of the negative thoughts that make us anxious and fearful, and so much more! If you read it and do everything they tell you, you will be able to manage anxiety  rather than have anxiety and fear control you.   It's shows you how our fleeting negative thoughts can make us believe things that are not even true. Definitely worth reading! Enjoy 😁

There some really good apps too. I love audio books so i can play them on repeat like someone is talking to me. Mindful exercises are wonderful once mastered. It will help self calm. The anxiety and ohibia workbook is really helpful too.  The big one. Goes over so much too. 

Hello. I haven't read the book but I do try to practise mindfulness all the time, and I'd have to say, yes, it's helped me to cope. Not cured me, just helped me to cope, which is important because without any coping skills I'd be at the mercy of any negative impulse or emotion that enters my mind. Not good. And it's given me better awareness for one thing.
