Does anybody on Mirt developped hypertyriod? I have been on mirt 7 years now and I went to do blood test because I was having fast heart rate.
The test came out that my thyriod are very high.

Thanks Calmer you have been a help on this site. Do you think when somebody develop such as Hyperthyriod is time to get off Mirt?
Not sure personally, I don't have the knowledge, but being mindful of what's happening at least gives you the informed choice.
I know others have come off Mirt & then discovered they have hyper or hypo thyroidism. They have said that they thought that Mirt' was masking this illness. Then there are others who have said its not a thyroid issue at all but another WD/discontinuation symptom that rights itself eventually. But I just don't know which it could be.
Personaly I went Hypo / Hashimoto.... But Hyper is sometimes kind of a prelude before going hypo... Most difficult thing is to find the connection.
I have developed hypothyroidism since being on Mirtazapine.
