Mirtazapine..good foods to eat while going off

I'm following Manuel's lead..a little. Anyone who could suggest good foods that sit well with them as they go off this med?

im hoping to stock pile a bit so I don't have to go to the store should I not be able.

also if anyone is taking vitamins that help could you mention which one?

thank you...

Hi my GP told me to get a course of vitamin D while tapper down to lift your mood. Also somewhere on the web Ithink it's on the Boots website they give you a list of foods to eat and what vitamins do what. I also follow manuelmanuel lead he's been very helpful. If you've got a question find one of his threads and I'm sure he'll help you.Good Luck.

I've just found the site Rose it's www.nhs.uk try that.

Hi there,

I have been off Mirt 45mg for 7-8 weeks I did it cold turkey and it was very hard.  I supplemented with a vit d3 oral spray, magnesium skin oil/spray both indicated as potential lacking in individuals with low mood disorders. Also chromium which I read Mirt depletes, high omega 3 krill oil and fish oil, b vitamins and a multi vitamin.

I basically researched vitamin and mineral deficiencies associated with depression and went from there. I also try to include lots of oily fish and healthy fats such as avocados, along with fruits and veg.

Good luck on your journey!!
