Mirtazapine in addition to sertraline

hi, has anyone been prescribed 15mg of mirtazapine in addition to sertraline? had first dose last night and although drowsy it was the first time i woke with zero morning anxiety. just looking for others who have both prescribed? basically i was given it to help until the sertraline kicks in which ive been in for 12 days now. thanks all

Hello I’m not on sertraline Coz Ima llergic to ssris, but I’m on pregablin, diazepam and mirtazipine. Mirtazipine worked the best out of all of them for me and my anxiety was severe. Hope it works for you

I’ve never heard of this medication before is it an antidepressant or an anti anxiety medication

martizipine is an antid.

It’s not just an antidepressant it also works for anxiety and ptsd Coz it’s actually an antipsychotic

mirtizapine is a trycyclic.not an antiphyschotic

I have been on mirtazapine various doses for most of this year worked great at first got from 45mg but got down to 15mg as it made anxiety worse.DR told me to take sertraline also 50mg side effects of that were horrific but started to subside only last couple of days so over the worst hopefully it will start to give me some benefit.Hope it works for you
