Mirtazapine. one month and the withdrawals are getting worse.... any advice?

Hi Guys
After being on Mirt for 2 years I decided it was time to come off it. Mirt was robbing me of all my energy and motivation plus I have developed a bit of a heart complaint, suffering from a very irregular heart palpitations. I was unsure if these had been caused by mirt or not as I use to get them occasionally when on escitelopram. I have been to a heart specialist and he has no idea what’s causing it… maybe its associated with panic??
It’s been a month today since my last tablet (after tapering down) and I’m finding it incredibly hard to get out of bed in the morning, I am sleeping but do take zoplicone occasionally for those real rough nights. I’ve got no appetite, feel constantly bloated even with taking omeprazole twice daily and have lost 8kg in a month…now the heart palpitations are in full force .
Has anyone else had experiences like this??

It took me 2 months to get over mirtazapine withdrawal.

Hi Paul .How long had you been on Mirt and what dose were you on?

hi, i imagine the heart rate might be panic, as ive been off them 3 months and had a few panic attacks in that time. im now on a beta blocker to regulate. 3 months in and i still feel dreadful (insomnia, constant headaches, muscle cramps) but its a case of day by day, and i stupidly just stopped mine, so fingers crossed yours wont be as bad. hope this helps, be kind to yourself and good luck.

hi How long have you been on mirtazapine and which dose ?
