Is there anyone that has success on Mirtzapine?
I hope so haha. If I'm honest mine did help me a little at the start. I recall rough couple of weeks then things settled. And I found them lifting my motivation for a few months. But the side effects out way my postive effects for me. But i have read that thry have helped some folk just everyone is differnt. Hope there is some positive posts on here to give us hope
Me too. Surely someone must benefit otherwise why would they be using this drug?
Hi suzie i was on motaxapine for 10 years at first they were tealy good with eating and sleep i put 4 stone on witch i needed has was only 7 stone so they did realy good for a few years and then i think i was on them to long dident work in the end im now on setraline been on them for 4 weeks and have had very few side effects but everyone is different hun give them a shot hope they work for you hun liz x
I had success, my head was all over the place and I couldn't get to sleep. I was on it short term and in that space of time I was able to get my head straight and think clearly for the first time in a long while. However I was so desperate to get off it by the end because I was sick of never feeling happy, I just felt numb. I went cold turkey and the withdrawal, as I am sure you've heard, is hell.
I don't hate the drug, it really did help me through a rough patch. It was my fault for going cold turkey but my Doctor said it wouldn't be a problem. I feel much better now that the withdrawal has faded so I call that a success 
I've been giving sertraline to try help me taper off these mirtazapine but I'm terrified to put Anything else in my mouth after this. I've heard sertraline seems good. Im just scared to have both in my system but I guess I can't feel any lower than I do on these
It's so hard to know what to do .. .. I was hoping there would be a few more happy stories!
Hiya hun what mg are you on i would taper yourself of the mit first over a 4 week time cut them down thats what i did and the start on 50mg ov setraline iv been on setraline for 4 weeks this week and hadly any side effect liz x
I am on 30.. just got up to 30 after experiencing side effects. I think I am going to stay on this until I see the dr. I have to get out of this depression. I have only been on the full 30 for one month. I wish the dr. would have started me on something else in conjunction with the 15 mirtz. I was okay on 15, but needed something for the depression. Maybe I need to give it a chance ... although I am feeling rather hungry!

Iam one of the success stories on mirtazapine. I have been on them for 5 years 30mg, and they have really helped with my anxiety and
appetite. I was only 7stone before I went on them, but I have put 2 stone on and feel much better for it. Great for getting a good sleep at night 2. Hope you start to feel better soon. Stick with it and I hope it helps you.
Yes hun they do make you eat i was on 30 but if you think you were better on 15 cut them in half and go see your docter and tell them you need something for the depression dont sit back and suffer hun go see your docter liz x

Since iv been on setraline my energy is so much better i dont think you will get a success story on mitazipne hun they good for sleep and makeing you eat but in the long run try someting else hun liz x
Hi. Yes my energy is good, compared to how I felt before, it was a struggle to get out of bed some days and I'm ashamed to say this but couldn't be bothered to wash myself. I'm pleased to say though that I'm now very clean.lol.

Oh I might have to look at the option as i now need a lift not sedated :-/ all I do is feel tired eith zero motivation. Weird appitite. Zaps spasms foggy cloudy head in clouds poor concentration. I need motivation from something. How do u taper over?
It has been a battle. I will talk to the doctor .. I don't know if I can go through a medication change right now. I would like to be stable for a couple of months. I haven't been for 6 months since every medication made me incredibly anxious. This is my 4th med!
The docter put me on 15mg for 2 nights then nothinh for one and then take one and miss one take one miss two night and again for 4 weeks then put me on 50mg ov setraline they are brillant a bit figgety but no panic attacks or Anxity glad i swiched go see your gp hun liz x
Haha I know I have to fight with my self to get out of bed most daYs it's not like me at all. It eases in the evening then I come alive ar night. My mates call me a bat haha as i don't want to sleep as I feel normal. I just think it's the mirt easing off :-/ I think I'm going to try my sertilaine thst docs gave me to try taper off these. I'm scared but I think something needs to change
Orrr realy i feel for you hun its not nice at all and sometime the side effect are not nice at all you will get there and find the right one im sure good look hun liz x
