I missed my tablets this morning, do I take late or just take tomorrow as normal?
You want to take it as soon as possible.
Yes take it now then as normal tomorrow
Sertraline being an activating drug, should be taken before 4 pm.So if u have missed it you can take it in afternoon, but avoid taking it in the evening.
I take sertraline and take around 6-7pm with my evening meal, I thought this was okay? what do u mean by activating drug?
I take mine just before bed every night and have done from the start. Everyone is different
Phew, was worried I was taking it at the wrong time then, thanks for the reassurance x
Thank u . I know people take at different times but wasn't sure when u missed a dose
If u miss a dose just take it as soon as u remember but if it's to close from your usual dose don't double take it
U can take it morning afternoon evening or night depending on how u sleep and side effects etc but always take it the same time each day so your body gets used to it x
Unusually take about 9am but took it at 4pm today
Yes I've been taking it around 6-7pm everyday with my evening meal. Hopefully side effects will go soon
How long have u been taking it and what mg? X
Activating means something which stimulates you and keeps you alert.Just like coffee.Best time to take it is after breakfast early in morning.
I'm on 50mg and only been taking it for six days, but previously was on 100mg for one and half years but came off if and anxiety has come back after six months of not being on it so had to go back on them.
So your still in the early stages then. I'm on 100mg, was on 50mg for 8 weeks now been on 100mg for 3 weeks and feel soooooo much better. Have a few anxious moments but I use my rescue remedy to get me through. R u planning on going back up to 100mg?
Yeah still at early stages and I know they work just gotta ride out the side effects but hate having time off work for it
I am going to see how I go for the first few weeks and if I have no change by week 6 then will ask to go on 100mg as that really helped with me.
I am glad to hear u are getting better
