hello fellow mono warriors 
I went through some pretty nasty mono case. Most horrible symptoms lasted for a month but I still sometimes feel a little weird. I’m about 90% recovered, it took me about 5 weeks. Now I feel better and better everyday.
However, can mono affect your period? I missed a month of period and I’m not pregnant, no menopause. I got a lot of new acne on my face since I skipped period. Does anyone had similar? I’m freaking out…

I did not miss a period but I did experience a couple months when symptoms were bad that my periods were shorter. Only 2-3 days.
Disease processes can effect normal body functions, due to extreme stress & hormones can be messed up (acne & missed periods)…I had Mono in 11th grade, missed 6 weeks of school…it is a terrible disease, the fatigue and all my glands were huge, I also missed my period, so it can happen…if the weirdness continues you should definitely contact your Dr. just as a follow up…being so sick & run down can leave you open to other things, however Mono can take months to completely go away…hope you are feeling better soon, BEST WISHES:wedding:
thank you! I finally got my period this month and lots of hormonal acne with it, haha. Hopefully by the next month I’ll be back to normal. it wipes you out big time
yea… probably hormones are out of usual after mono that’s for sure
Good for you…well, really a period isn’t a thing you cheer for lol but, it does mean you’re back on track, so hope your completely back to pre-MONO you quickly!!! Take Care:peace_symbol:
