i am looking for any help whether to hange to this when ssris dont work or tricyclics.
You need to give your medications time to work upwards of five/six weeks. Sometimes your GP may ask to see you on four weeks and will increase the dose to a working level.
Try not to rush.

Have been on same anti dep Snri for two years. Also tried several,others tricyclics five months top dose. Clutching at straws when moclobemide was mentioned but have been told nardil is better
Hey ann, have you considered buspirone? This is a medication which is a different class than SSRI or tricyclics. It is primarily used for anxiety, however it has been used for depression as well. Ask your doctor about it and make sure you are not taking any tricyclics or SSRI with it since it may cause serotonin syndrome. Hope this helps
Buspirone has not been mentioned for my anxiety. I wonder if it is available in uk
I believe the brand name is Buspar. You can ask your local pharmacy and also your physician.
