So, I’ve had a mole or freckle on my nose since my late teens I’m assuming a mole. Around 6 to 8 months ago, I noticed the mole/freckle I had on my noise got much darker and started to grow. It caused swelling my noise on both sides and a bump around the spot on my noise. The swellinghas gone down some and it’s no longer as dark as it was, but the bump is still there another bump that’s pea sized under the skin at the tip of my nose. It’s mildly sore even if I don’t touch it for weeks. This growth happened directly after being in the sun for a few hours at the beach a couple of times in one week. The bump under the mole or freckle is definitely not cartilage and I don’t believe the pea sized bump just past the bone on top of the cartilage in my nose is actual cartilage either. At least the best I can tell it’s not. It’s mildly sore. I did make an appointment to see the dermatologist, but I don't believe I explained myself well while I was there and even forgot to mention the second bump towards the tip of my nose. He mentioned it was a type of growth ( I also forgot to write down the type :/). However, me not thinking clearly forgot to ask if it was normal for the growth to happen directly as a result of sun exposure. It is normal for non cancerous growths to appear as a result of sun exposure?
