I have been having these vaginal issues on and off for years, mainly consisting of yeast infections due to BV. However, I noticed these soft flesh like bumps and they semi-itch. I have been with the same partner for 3 years and we attempted sex the other night (it was extremely painful, felt like sand paper). My discharge has also been pretty normal from what I've seen, although, it looks extremely creamy/milky to me. I set up an appt. but because of COVID I'll only be receiving a phone call in June.

hi, do you recall if you had these before and just noticed them now ? there is some other bumps i noticed on the left on your lip. do these feel like fluid filled bumps , hard ? Also it does look like you may have developed another YI/BV .
I have had these bumps for a while now, however, I feel like more has accumulated. When I was told I had BV I believe I got a cream
and that was it. However, I am still experiencing issues. The bumps semi-itch, it is mainly just annoying/uncomfortable. It may be possible that I have a slight YF considering I did try to have sex. I’m honestly just feeling so defeated. I have been having these issues on and off for years.
I do not have much pain but I do believe I may have yet another YF.
Could these bumps be because of that? or BV?I’ve had them for years but now it is more prominent
also, they do not feel hard. They feel soft and squishy for the most part.
are you on birth control ? i know hormonal changes can alter your PH balance/flora at times. you shouldnt be having BV /YI often specially more than 2-3 per year. If your partner is ejaculating in you this may be the case also if your taking medication or Diabetic . if the bumps mainly feel soft and squishy it sounds benign as most concerning bumps/lumps
are usually hard and liquid filled.
I’m not on BC so my partner does not cum in me. however, in the past i had throat issues (which turned out to be tonsil stones) and I went to the doctor and after testing me for both strep and mono only to get negative on both, they prescribed me antibiotics. This was a problem
for about 2 months until I finally decided to stick a q-tip in the back of my throat and pick at it. I picked it out and now I’m fine with no more issues there but they prescribed me antibiotics because they didn’t know and I was taking BC around that time I believe. This is just really beginning to take a toll on me.
well for sure the antibiotics screwed up your flora which is very typical when taking antibiotics unfortunately. it sounds like your going though a cycle of getting back to normal only to get another case of YI. what were they prescribing you for BV and what antibiotics did you take ? also what type of BC were you taking ?
They gave me cream for BV, I wasn’t prescribed anything other than that which I thought was a little weird. and I was taking the pill
it may have not been a severe case as some cases can get pretty bad. YI are one thing but BV are certainly on another level. I know it can take a toll on you but stay positive. it is not an STI and they are treatable and manageable. Trust me i know it can be a burden and take a toll on you mentally. The only real concern is those little bumps.
