I was reading on another forum a member had their tonsils removed claims they made a recovery. I was curious to know how many of you have your tonsils still?

Thankfully although I did have sore throats and things when unwell with mono, I didn’t have too much bother with tonsils or have to get them removed or anything. There does seem to be a close link with tonsillitis and mono. Just be careful before making any big decisions like that though because the virus is a virus and removing the tonsils in itself might help with symptoms in that area but not be able to speed up the overall recovery of your body if that makes sense - but it’s something worth talking to the doctor about of course.
