A lurker of a several weeks here. We can all sympathise with our variety of symptoms and how they disrupt our physical and mental health and our lives in general.
Symptoms of sorts for 5 months. Most severe at month 3. Tested at month 3 and recent at month 5, no active Infectious Mononucleosis noted. But EBV antibodies detected which suggest a past infection both times, not necessarily a recent one.
we are told that can be infectious to another for months whilst symptoms persist and we can remain infectious.
On the basis I haven’t tested positive for a current or recent mono infection what are people’s thoughts and experiences regarding being infectious to others?
I wish to get more intimate with my partner!!!
Is there a spit/swab test in the UK to test my saliva?!
I would welcome your experiences.
