Thank you, I am so pleased.

Hi, guess what, I'm so excited, the hospital called today, and after all that , they've given me an even earlier date, I'm now having second knee done in 21 St July hurrayyyyyy, so pleased. Pre op next Tuesday. πŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ˜€

Brilliant Mandy. The sooner the better for you xx

Thanks, I just hope the other one is only a half, still what will be will be, at least it will be doneπŸ˜€

Excellent news! You'll have the rest of the Summer for recuperating, and before Winter sets in (you are in the UK???) you'll be running around (well, maybe not exactly running . . . )

Exactly, I'm so pleased, as I'm sure you gathered, yes I'm in sunny Sussex , and that's just what I was thinking, by Christmas  I'll hopefully be able to even do the Christmas dinner , maybe with a little help, but it also means that my hubby will be able to have a bit of rest for his acileece heel, it's agony for him now, he must be so fed up with it being all about me. Just got to pray really hard that every thing goes smoothly now. πŸ˜‡ I'm sure it will. X

I know how your husband feels!  I have the same thing now, on my 'good' leg, so just as I thought I was waking wonderfully, I'm back to going down stairs one at a time!  fingers crossed they don't change your date again!  Sussex is lovely . . I would LOVE to be in England now . . . Tenerife is OK for a holiday, but when you live here you get a bit of 'island fever'!

walking not waking. . .  I am VERY good at waking. . . all night!

Oh I'm sure it's wonderful r heir, I've never been, bu t I do love England rain and all , summers best though,

My husband is from Tenerife, so it's home to me.  Home will always be England in my heart though!  Really miss those green fields, faraway church bells ringing in the country, bacon!!!!!

You would love where I live then  , right by the river Arun , which is tidal , so smells of the sea, and seagulls herons cormorants , every where, a small none chain pub, a two minute walk along the river, and just past that a very quaint little village church, so we get the church bells Sunday mornings, pretty idilic . We love it, which is why I'm so desperate to get my legs back,Mandy get back out there, I can't even walk along the river footpath by my self at the moment cause I keep dealing over, it really is rubbish, . If ever you come over you'll have to come visit.  You'll love it.πŸ˜€

Falling over,

green with envy!

I feel I already no you, from being on here so you would be more than welcome to come visit if your over. I was always told to share.πŸ˜€

Same to you in Tenerife! We live in the north of the island. . very beautiful, as green as it can get on such a hot island. . . would love to visit England again, but husband is over eighty now, and doesn't want to fly . . or travel . . sad  valerie martin arvelo on facebook!

Ah , that's the trouble with flying , I personally hate flying , I'm not saying I'll never do it again, but I only did it once eleven years ago to Majorca , I cried mostly all the way, and worried  about coming home again for the whole week, . I'm not saying I'd never do it again, but I don't like it.if I was in my eighties , I don't think I would bother either. A shame for you though. But you would be welcome. How is your knee anyway, haven't heard you mention it lately .?

That's great news good luck

My knee is really pretty good! Still a bit stiff above the knee, still uncomfortable going down stairs. . but now the painful thing is my ankle on the other leg!  I haven't found the time to go to the specialist, but it is very painful and I've had it now over a month . . How about you???
