Thanks for everyone who takes the time to reply I've been on Citalopram 10 mg for almost 2 weeks now. To be honest I think I've been fairly lucky with the side effects, they have all been manageable. I am mostly exshausted after I take it. However, I have noticed that since I have started taking it, I wake up in the mornings feeling nauseus, but just when I wake up? It feels like quite heavy nausea but as soon as I change position or sit up straight it calms down? Has anyone else experienced this? I find it odd that it is only happening as I am waking up.
I do not get nausea when I get up in the morning, however I suffer waves of it at tea time. Im on 20mg per day this being my second week. As for the lethergy I suffer from that too, sometimes sleeping 14 hours.
If this does not disappear in the next few weeks, check with your GP, mine has lessoned somewhat, but does re-occur.
I suffered with nausea for about 5 weeks, all through the day but especially morning and tea time. I've gone up to 20mg for the last 4 days. Not much nausea, but headache, very tired and tinnitus.
Lucky you! Not everyone has all the side effects and the one everyone would not like is nausea. I had it mildly around meal time for a short while back in the first 1/2 months, but it didn't put me off me food!
Just remember, something may just hit you side effect wise when you least expect it so be careful not to get too up about it. If something doesn't again lucky you!
Hey Anon, yes I had it still feel a little funny when I yawn strangely hang in there it will pass, david is right there may be more side effects coming so stay calm they are all temporary
