Mr John Cousins

Hi I'm 67 years old male. I started to loose my scalp hair from about age 13 year of age. Throughout my life I've always experienced very high & extreme levels of perspiration, on my head face & my torso. In recent years, I've previously been refereed by my very tolerant GP to see both dermatologists & endocrinologist for any thyroid problem to seek explanation. I also have type II diabetes & OSAS for which I use a CPAP machine every sleep occasion, which on occasion I've found to be intolerable due to perspiration. I've also always had an intolerance to heat. Though, wearing a hat has always proved problematical due to the greater perspiration that I would experience. About ten weeks ago my GP prescribed Solaraze. His parting words were "I will try to see resolve the Solar damage to your scalp, however, I can't do anything about your high level of perspiration". My experience since using the Solaraze is that the solar damage to my scalp is much reduced. However, the perspiration to my scalp, face & torso has stopped, virtually totally, completely. I am also able to wear a hat without the garment immediately becoming soaked in perspiration. I have also discovered that I am able to tolerate being in the sun & heat. At this time of Covid-19, we're in difficult times. I don't want to attend my GP's surgery, though, I've noted the unexpected benefits to my GP of his prescribed treatment, when requesting repeat prescriptions, he hasn't responded at this time. Are you able to make any suggestion? Will the episodes of perspiration continue when the solar damage treatment is complete? I'd be obliged to receive any information.
