Hi, I’m having my very first MRI scan on Saturday and I’m absolutely dreading it!! I suffer with claustrophobia and anxiety, I’m really panicking about how I’m actually going to be able to get through it without having a panic attack! Any advice would be much appreciated 😊
I have the same problem. So the tech puts a washcloth over my eyes and it works very well. I've had to have 2 before.
This may not help, but have you asked to see if there's an option for an open MRI in your area? I had the same thing before and I explained to my doctor that I didn't think I could manage and he suggested we look for another place that had an open MRI. I had to travel an extra 20 minutes to it, but it was worth it.

I had know idea you could have an open MRI scan, to be honest I just want to get it over and done with 🙈...how long does it usually take to get the results 👍🏻
Once it’s done abt a few days your primary doctor should have the results
