Mucus congestion and breathlessness maybe due to anxiety?

Hey, it’s been a month since my breathlessness came back. Daily I would feel that the sensation to breathe in fully is a hit and miss. And I feel that my nose are blocked but there’s no mucus. Could it be that my lungs are filled with mucus and that triggered my anxiety and breathlessness? I tried to breathe normally but my body demands me to take in deep breaths alot more. And when it fails, the anxiety will come and thus having me to control my breathing all over again. is this normal?

yes it’s normal. Anxiety can cause breathlessness and at the same time some mucus buildup can cause anxiety. You can learn how to breathe properly with anxiety. There are many short mindfulness breathing exercises on YouTube. You could be congested because of a cold or allergies so take care of that.
There’s nothing like A cup of good old old fashion chicken noodle soup to help open up the nasal passageways. Also stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water every day that will get rid of the mucus also. Just try to relax and if you have a humidifier nearby that will help ease up the congestion. You’ll be OK just relax and do the proper breathing and even listen to a meditation for anxiety. Take care
