hi guys, for the last week or so ive had stomach pain thats felt a little different each day. at first, it was a sharp pain that would come and go and i would need to go to the toilet and i wouldnt pass nothing but mushy/watery/mildly bloody mucus/poop. It was accompanied by a headache and very mild aches. Recently, its felt like an annoying mild pain which will come and go and i will need to go to the toilet, but i wont pass hard stools, its always mucus like this with bits of blood.
does anybody have any idea what this could be? im really worried. ![Uploading filimagee...]()
Hi Emily ashamed, I have had this too.
I too would get ibs kind of cramps and then would feel like passing gas but would but mucus with blood.
Had it many yrs ago and got it checked out by specialist who said i had a thrombosed internal hemnorroid.
Have had it again recently after a whole lot of other symptoms. Will be going for a colonoscopy soon. It could be a haemorrhoid or a fissure from what I have been reading and the fact that I have had it before. Apparently from reading up fissures and internal hemmies can cause mucus.
The dr thinks the crampy pains are probably ibs.
Have you seen a dr yet? I know how scary it is . But it could also be an infection as my gp said can cause ibs to flare up.
Maybe someone here will be able to help since I still don’t have definite answers .
I totally understand the stress this causes.
