See pics. I haven't had a sexual encounter in 3 months, but these bumps only popped up about 2 weeks ago. They're not really painful or itchy. I had them swabbed for herpes just in case, but I can't fathom how it could be an STD since I did not have a recent sexual encounter (which was only oral sex btw). Please help!! What could it possibly be? I tried putting antibiotic ointment on it, and I got clotrimazole cream just in case and tried that, but no improvement so far (though it's only been a few days, and it doesn't appear like a classic fungal infection). Like I said, it doesn't cause me too much discomfort, but after a while i noticed it looks like the bumps scab over and if the scab comes off, it looks like a tiny bit of fluid or something seeps out, but not much.
Not sure if this is related or not, but I also was having a some pretty bad itching throughout my body for several weeks, saw urgent care who suspected scabies and gave me permethrin and the itching has improved so far. But like I said, these bumps on the penis/scrotum only showed up about 2 weeks ago. Any ideas would be appreciated. I plan on seeing a dermatologist soon but I have to work things out with my health insurance first. Thank you.
