It all started back in early December, I got some unusual swelling underneath my tongue. I went to a clinic because I didn’t have health insurance at the time. They told me I had an infection, gave me antibiotics, and sent me on my way. The antibiotics didn’t help.
I started googling things and (like everything on the internet) it turned up cancer just about everywhere I looked. This caused me to freak out and shortly after I started getting a tingling sensation on the top of my head followed by what I can only explain as pressure on the top of my nose.
Those got really intense to the point where I had to take two weeks off work because I couldn’t handle the pain. I got health insurance at the beginning of January and was finally able to see my PCP. By the time I had my appointment the headaches and nose pressure had gone away mostly. He took a look at my tongue and said it was nothing to worry about.
That was relieving but I still had no clue how it came about. Luckily he referred me to an ENT. The ENT told me I had a clogged salivary gland and I was gonna need surgery to remove it. This was also relieving because the whole time I thought I had some kind of cancer.
As of right now I’ve developed some pretty bad neck pain on the left side as well as the head tingling came back in full force. I’m feeling random pains in my abdomen and sometimes legs and arms. I want to believe it’s anxiety but I’m just not sure anymore. I’m freaking out crying thinking I have cancer. I don’t know what to do anymore.
NUMMBER ONE DON'T GOOGLE THINGS ON GOOGLE. I had chest pain before I searched it up on the google and google said I had heart disease or was going to heart attack I went ER and they doctor said stress. but I have pain in my legs and arms from anxiety trust me you're okay once you calm down the pain will go away
First, take a deep breath. Next, call your doctor. Be honest about your concerns. It's possible that a direct conversation about what you're experiencing will be enough to give your brain peace. It sounds like you are currently hyperaware of every little everything going on in your body. I totally get it. Your ENT is convinced it's a salivary gland clog. Reach back out, tell them about your other symptoms, ask them to go over your diagnoses one more time to help put your mind at ease. If your ENT or PCP's assurances aren't enough, don't hesitate to consider an anti-anxiety med just to get you through the other side of surgery and recovery. Many people get anxiety when weird stuff starts happening in their body. Sometimes you can think your way out of it, but sometimes medication or counseling is the answer. From what I'm hearing you say this is really interfering with your life, and that's when outside help is required.

Your symptoms now do not seem to be related, although the neck pain and your mouth problems need to be looked at.
I suppose if you go for your throat He will also check your neck while there, your lower extremities could be anything I do not know your health problems, could it be caused by exercise. It seems lie Anxiety, talk to your GP on the understanding if you suffer Anxiety thing could be related to that, I am no Doctor, bow to their diagnosis
