has anyone used endep (amitryptaline) for muscle tension aching back pain in menopause??

have u found amitryptaline to work for u?
my dr has prescribed it for tension in my back neck headaches. just worried though as i know it can cause constipation that im already suffering from due to menopause and are withdrawls bad when u try come off them.
have u found this med to work?

hi susan, it never caused me constipation, it relaxes my pain at night and aids sleep, ive upped and downed dose without a problem x

my dr has put me on 10mg amitryptaline for my pain. do u think thats a high enough dose?

hi susan its better to start off low, take before bed as its a super strong antihistamine/painblocker/antidepressant so will make you super drowsy x
