Tremblements musculaires dans la poitrine

I have had the same problem for about 4 months now. At first I would get the spasms and it would trigger nausea. I have been in and out of the ER and Everytime I'm told I'm fine. Once they told me I have gastritis but I'm aware that isn't the explanation for my twitching. I have recently began having many dizzy spells during work which is what worries me especially. I have changed my diet but still am overcome with the random twitching in my chest, arms, neck, upper back. I'm almost convinced it is anxiety but the other part of me wants to think something is wrong with me. I'm in the process of getting checked out by a physician but it's really gotten in the way of my everyday activities. Update me on your status please.

IDK if it's the same in your case but I also feel strong pulsing in my head and throughout my body when I'm at a standstill or when I lay down.

Im having muscle twiches too in my upper chest near my colar bone. Its scary and ive have had anxiety

Yes me...I have every symptoms possible.

Hi ladybug! I have had all of that!! I feel like I have cramps on my calf’s and upper legs sometimes. Has anything progressed in the last months?

Hi Thiago I have left arm pain as well. It feels like it’s my nerves and it goes all the way down to my finger tips. And my arm will hurt for the whole night sometimes.  Has your condition gotten better? Or gone away?

I feel the same! Like I’m dying. It’s a defense mechanism. I’m no expert, but that’s what I’ve heard. I get real bad anxiety. I’ll be sitting down and eating and just feel a twitch and I get scared and that’s when the anxiety kicks in high gear! It’s my left breast where I feel it. I get mistaken thinking it’s my heart. Freaks me out.

I have anxiety and since last night I’ve had like a tightening  fist feeling between my breast bone and if I touch it is very tender.  I had a EKG two weeks ago and it was normal. I also have the tendency to overreact, my husband and I have been under a lot of stress. So that might be causing it.

I've been having these weird chest muscle spams the past few days, along with upper abdominal pain and left chest pain and also the left side of the rib cage in pain too, and even some pain the the left side of my back in that general area as well.... so i went to the ER last night because to spasm'd so much that i thought my heart was going crazy, and of course my heart rate was up at 140 after the spasms but its probably due to me panicking about thinking it was my heart. The ER couldn't find anything, all they did was give me a GI cocktail with some pepcid and Ativan too to calm my stomach and spasms down, but here I am today having the spasms again, so i don't know what the hell to do, i want them to go away cause it triggers a lot of anxiety for me. The ER did not even take my blood or anything, they just gave me those meds... I suspected low magnesium but it is hard to say when they don't check your blood for it..... Sending good vibes to y'all with this problem, hopefully we can all resolve it.

Forgot to add they did give me an EKG and it came back normal. Blood pressure was a little high when i was in there 140/80 i believe. And heart rate of 140 bpm. But the ER didn't seem too concerned however i know there is still an underlying factor causing these spasms and pains.

i have the occasional vibration like a cell phone in my left pec and twitching in different parts of my body similar to the other posts here. no pain it's just annoying. what worked to help relieve the twitching for me was laying off of caffeine, getting more sleep, magnesium supplements and occasional Pedialite and just giving the pec muscle a rest/not lifting heavy objects

i am pretty sure this is a sleep caffeine thing for me because the twitches happen more often when I am extremely tired or have been hitting the coffee too much. i am 99% sure the pec spasms are muscle related because when i flex it it spasms and when i rest it it's fine

umm..hello! I get muscle twitches .. I do suffer from anxiety but then no other symptomz ..I wana ask that what if I drink magnesium too much? Will it cause magnesium efficiency in my body and then what will happen next?

Thankyou for advice I would do that.. even when I did It gave me relief .. but what if u dont get anxiety but still get nuscle twitches even when anxiety has stopped nd u get no other symptoms other than this F*****G TWITCHING AND EAR PAIN(ONLY ONCE IN A WHILE)

I was diagnosed with a fib a couple months ago and thought it was a death sentence. I found out that unfortunately it was drug induced and thankfully since I’ve quit the drugs I’ve yet to have another episode without using any meds. But I do wanna know, seeing you’ve lived a long life have you had any complications? Stroke, heart attack, anything? Since finding out my anxiety has been through the roof! I think I’m gonna have a heart attack or cardiac arrest, or even a stroke every day. I even worry about blood clots. What all meds have you been on?

how are you now? has this stopped? it's happening to me and it's freaking me out because it's right by my heart ☹️

Hi Brandon, I've been on sotalol for the past 13 years and coumadin blood thinner for 13, last year I asked my Dr to put me on Eliquis blood thinner and it working fine. I have not had any heart attacks or strokes, knock on wood. But in the beginning when the Afibs started it was quite unnerving being I was so young at the time and a lot of different medications were tried to control it including quinidine sulphate which I was on for the longest time. Just see your cardiologist regularly and take the medication he prescribes. I lived a very normal and active life when I was young and retired from the fire department. Occasionally I would start to get an Afib episode and I would cough very hard and that you get it straightened out into normal rhythm. I'm sure you'll be fine, dont let it control your mind. Good luck.

I can't speak for everyone else but, after about a month I am no longer having the chest spasms I used to have all the time in my left chest. My guess is low potassium. Can cause pretty much every terrifying symptom listed in this thread.

I ate a banana each morning and took some magnesium, cut back on caffeine and other diuretics and got more sleep. Had the spasms in my chest for ~6 months and now they are gone. Occasionally still have minor twitch in random areas but much less considerably.

Hope this helps someone

thank you so much for your reply! I'm definitely going to try this! I'm glad you're doing well

Hi there! I know this is an old post but I just ran across it. I have EXACTLY the same symptoms you did. I, too, visited ER and was told by a cardiologist I was fine! I'm wondering how you are doing now and what helped you. Thank you! Dan
