Hello everyone. I have been suffering from Depression, Anxiety Disorder, OCD and Panic Attacks for a year.
It was the worst experience of my life. I am glad that 90 percent of it is over now as I don't have Depression and Panic Attacks anymore.
But one thing which is still so disturbing for me that muscular pain, itches, tension and numbness is still there in my left arm and left leg sometimes.
Ever since I had anxiety disorder I got this but I m much fine but that muscular thing is still there. Doctor says it's just due to anxiety disorder.
It doesn't stay more then 10 secs but keep moving onto my arm shoulder and hand.
Does the back of your neck hurt or feel tight? I was having severe muscle tightness in the back of my neck and it was causing the nerves to get pinched which resulted in numbness and tingling in my hands and feet.
I was also diagnosed with TMJ. About 90% of TMJ cases are caused by muscle issues. My muscles got tight due to severe stress and anxiety. The muscles in the jaw tighten which puts pressure on the TM joint and this causes a whole mess of problems including twitches, tremors, neck, head and shoulder pain, muscle knots, clogged ears.... It's been one heck of a year.
I'm glad you are almost rid of depression and panic attacks..Hope you get better with your other problems as well. I don't have that symptom but have you had a full body x-ray done? Maybe it's a injury. I wouldn't know though. Hope you get better💕
I don't have any kinda disturbance on neck area but most of the my left shoulder and arm. I did every posible thing massage, exercise, sprays and stuff but nothing worked.
Hello, I've suffered from Anxiety & Panic disorder for 10 years now..it has been the most debilitating thing I've ever had to go through ..would love to talk to you some more to share our stories.
Have you heard of dry needling? My physical therapist is a muscle specialist and does myofascial release and if that doesn't work she needles the muscles. It really works! I've had my arms, neck, shoulders, back and even the back of my head needled. Sometimes the knots come back but most of the time I stay clear. Unfortunately the worst of the muscle at the base of my skull can't be needled because they are too close to the spine. They drive me crazy!
