My anxiety has got massively worse in the past 6 months and I don’t no why?

September last year I started to go down hill I was under a lot of stress, and having to make certain decisions, ever since I have been so nervous all the time the doctor has said that I suffer with panic disorder, generalised anxiety and depression, I feel that my depression has got better cause I’ve made good changes recently, but I still wake up feeling on edge all the time my fears have got worse and the slightest dread feeling in my tummy brings in massive worry and even panic attacks, and I can worry and panic about nothing and I can’t understand why and I’m getting sick of it, it’s ruinimg my life. 

Hi Amy, when anxiety occurs it can cause a lot of dreadful symtoms at one time especially with different types. I would say that when you ever undergo panic get a journal or peice of paper write down the time and reason why you feel this way. It will tell the brain the logical stand point and calm down. I also have anxiety and I haven't tried this yet but it is recommended from therapists as I searched online, because I too want to just get rid of all anxiety it is a battlefield of the mind so we must retrain our brains to not have this pattern everyday....it will take some time as I am still trying to work on my health anxiety.

 I know exactly what you’re talking about. I have felt that way my entire life. I decided I had to do something about it. I couldn’t take feeling that way any longer!

 fear can literally rob you of your life! Fear is based on non-reality and it is a useless emotion. I wasted over 20 years of my life with fear and I can’t get back a single day! 

 I saw other people who seemed much happier and active.

it was VITAL that I take care of  my body and mind!

I also decided I needed to build  up my immune system and core strength so I can fight off the stress and anxiety.

I joined an inexpensive Gym  and spoke with the trainer who set up an exercise program for me. 

 going about 3 to 4 times a week. Normally I’m not one for a lot of exercise but actually enjoying it now because I feel less anxiety and stress.. I think of it as my medicine instead of taking medicine

 I take multivitamins, fish oil, vitamin C

 my diet consists mainly of roasted vegetables, chicken salads etc. 

 I am by no means someone likes to diet but I feel so much better with this one. 

 I listen to meditations on YouTube for anxiety, stress, etc. and do this daily. 

I take life less seriously than I used to  and smile and laugh more often. I enjoy the simple things in life. 

I know that anxiety and stress can pop anytime but if we have a strong immune system and more peaceful mind, we can better fight it off! 

 there is a great book called mindfulness it teaches you how to regain your peace of mind and eliminate the fear and negative thinking. Hope you feel better! 🌸🌸🌸😁
