my back pain

hi since 6 month i have back pain lower part of my back , the pain move from right side to left side some times not come down of my feet or legs , i can walking normal with out pain but when i sitting my pain come back . what i do ? i want advice .

Hi Kafroshi, I would suggest seeing your GP for an examination and advice. If a course of antiinflammatory and painkillers doesn't work then physiotherapy or an osteopath. If none of that works ask for a referral to a neurosurgeon. Good luck. D

Hi kafroshi

That sounds like the sciatica too me.

I struggled with it for years doctors found I had a heriated disc and I've just had surgery a couple weeks back.

I would suggest that you go too a GP as the problem may worsen if not treated (in my case the pain got that bad I couldn't get out of bed)

Good luck

Hi Kafroshi,

If you have private health insurance or are prepared to pay then it would be beneficial to see a physiotherapist sooner rather than later. You can go via your GP and get a referral into NHS physiotherapy but often waiting times can be several weeks, which delays treatment. There are quite a few good private practices around and rates vary from £30-60 a session. I would suggest booking in to a local private practice with a good recommendation and going to see your GP for onward referral to NHS Physiotherapy.
