Gave it a wash and a check over - found a puncture in front inner tube so I repaired that and managed to ride around the garden. Only real issue, and it's minor one really, was I needed to lean the bike quite far in order to lift my leg over but once on it was no problem.
Going to take it out for a spin on Sunday - tomorrow we are driving into the Yorkshire Dales for a picnic and a walk.
Well done Mic...... sounds daft but can you get on it from the other side? might be worth a try.. isn't it great when a plan comes together and to do things we haven't been able to do in ages...... driving my car was wonderful, I had to give up driving 9 onths ago because of the paiin of using the clutch... keep up the good work and have a lovely day tomorrow

Nice bike, I hope the sun shines for you. I had to tilt my bike before my new hip so I'm hoping for an improvement long term.....

So strange I too have just got my bike out. Went for test run. Was lovely and was going to ask on here - is it ok to cycle, I am nearly 8 weeks post op and have been given the all clear. Any comments please.
