My boyfriend's abdominal/chest attacks....

For months now my boyfriend has had abdominal pain radiating into his back. He says it makes it hard to breath at times. He has been to the doctor for this and had blood tests as well as gallbladder tests that all came back normal. In the past he had palpitations that he went in and was checked out for but this too came back as the doctor saying he didn't see anything in the tests that pointed to reason to worry. I'm not sure if the two things are related or not but it of course has caused reason for me to post looking for answers that doctor's have not been able to provide yet. I know that anxiety can cause some of these things, but the pain gets so bad at times he hunches over and can t function through it... Any suggestions that are positive would be grateful. Thank you!

Your boyfriend should ask for an abdominal ultrasound. Is his pain in one location only or is it generalised and moves about?  Does it come on before or after eating? A food diary is the second thing to try.  Has he eaten anything he wouldn't normally eat?

Have his bowel habits changed such as diarrhoea or constipation?

Hi amanda82015

Pain in the upper chest can indicate pancreatitis and inflamed pancreas. He should ask his doc to test his Amylase and Lipase enzyme levels..also to have a fecal elastase test. The pain in the upper chest is usually intense and there will be a high pulse rate......best wishes...

I would suggest going to your chiropractor and having him check you out. People would be surprised with all their aches and pains and problems if they kept their skeleton in nervous system and a healthy way
