I promised I would come back with my findings and I found out it was a guy I dated. I have been sexually actively for about 10 years and never had any lady problems. When me and my bf broke up I started dating a guy who was uncircumcised and I got bv. Was treated and fine and then when we had sex again it came back. Multiple times. A few months later we broke up and I started my relationship with someone new who was circumsized and haven't had the problem in over a year. I honestly believe some guys don't mesh well with our ph levels or they have bacteria under the foreakin that reinfect us. When I first took the medication I read reviews saying it comes back I believe this is because they were still having sex with the same person. So please if your in a relationship and want to still have sex with the love of your life you should both be treated together or use condoms. Hope this helps. It can be treated your just getting reinfected because he carries the bacteria and needs the gel also to be treated. I heard women can't give it to men but some guys who are uncircumcised will carry the bacteria which messes with our lady parts.
I agree with you. I dont know why they claim a guy cant carry it but can pass it from one girl to the next!?!? ...makes no sense. Glad you are BV free. I stopped dating the guy I got it from and it took me months to kick it. However, my cure was Vitamin D3. I havnt been with a guy since so im not sure if it'll come back. I sure hope not!
While I do believe some guys ph may cause bv. I don't believe it's the only cause. My ex who I used to get bv with...I have not been with him for over a yr and I still get it. I use condoms and still get it. I haven't had sex in 3 months and I have it again....
