There is no medicine to help lower your ESR.  What symptoms are you having that your doctor ordered this test?  An elevated ESR indicates some type of autoimmune, inflammatory condition, or it could mean nothing all being yours is only considered slightly elevated.  An ESR of 70 or higher is a need for concern.  For peace of mind, you can ask your doctor to retest you in about 6 to 8 weeks to see if it keeps rising or goes down.  Other things that can slightly raise your ESR are pregnancy, contraceptives or Anemia (which is very common).  A cold, respiratory infection and sinusitis can increase ESR to this level too.  Again... if you do not any symptoms and feel fine.. do not worry about it.   Best wishes..
