Ive been using propranolol now for two weeks and been taking 40mg twice a day, yuk!! my experience of them is awfull. Ive had a dry mouth cold shivers hands and feet but most alarming is my mood swings,feel depressed.any one having the same feelings.doctor has told me to continue as I'm taking them for hypertension.think I'm going to stop them.
Hello, well im feeling better im taking this tablets for 4 days and this is helping me feeling tranquil very calm, only im feeling dry mouth and something in my heart but im Ok. im not moody more the horrible feeling of nervous and panic attack i dont feel more im taking 80mg but im thinking to stop with this treatment and to take them when i feel the panic attack wants return incase im scared about the secondary effects.

I've been taking propranolol for 3 years - 160 mg in one tablet in the mornings for anxiety. I get pins and needles in my hands and don't know if this is a side effect of the tablets. Apart from that, I haven't had a panic attack for 2 and a half years so they're working. I'm taking them in conjunction with citalapram for my depression and the two work well together.

Have just been prescribed Propranolol by my GP. Interesting to have the benefit of other peoples experience of these tablets. Hand tremors and general unhappiness with my situation - the feeling of being some ghastly puppet with someone else writing my script - may also be the result of 12 months unemployment and being unable to return to the 30 years of friends and interests I had in Gloucestershire. I wait to see what my personal experience of Propranolol will be.
