As you can read from the title, suddenly my left eye is smaller than my right eye. I'm just 16 years old, and have no major health issues (diabetes, other medical issues). I wear glasses regularly too. I've been noticing this issue from the past 2 months and I'm really concerned about it because people call me cross-eyed. I was considering to switch to contact lenses, but this issue is a barrier and is giving me huge concern.
Please someone tell me what to do. Thanks. Here's a picture: http://i.imgur.com/K6IBWNf.jpg
Personally I don't notice much change except that one eye's upper lid looks a bit swollen. Best thing is to see the eye Specialist. It appears to be a minor problem but seeing the Doc is a must.
left eye shows upper eyelid lower than the right one, it's minimal. It may be due to eyelid inflammation that makes the lid swollen and fall down this millimeters. so visit you dr. and he will decide the tratment and hope you be fine soon . don't worry.
Visited my doctor, I've got something called Oculoplastics.
Is it some thing not too serious? What treatment has been suggested by him? I wish you good luck/quick relief.
I don't think it's too serious, I've been referred to a doctor who deals with those kind of issues. Other than that, no other problems.
